First Family Fun Day & Apple Unit continued

It was great to have so many families be able to join us for Family Fun Day. We enjoyed meeting everyone and hope you will be able to join us again. We had so much fun exploring inside apples and then experimenting with which parts sank and which floated. There were stories read, names stamped, and finger painted apple trees. Many children enjoyed using the paper punches to make leaves or apples for the numbered trees. Each child also selected 0-3 pieces of a variety of fruits to make their own fruit salad.

Next week Monday please remember to leave backpacks at home, dress for the weather, and bring a water bottle.

Field trip slips and money are due Wed. Oct 5th. Have a great weekend!
