Wild Animals Unit

This week we read about many wild animals and the children selected one animal to learn more about throughout the week. They choose from elephant, lion, zebra, camel, panda, and giraffe. They had to find out where the animal lived in the wild, what it ate, and what the main color(s) it was.

We also went on safari to find animals, count the groups, and write numbers.

We still had plenty of time to enjoy our friends!

The afternoon section did an AWESOME job participating in the statewide tornado awareness practice. They followed directions, stayed quiet, and in their "turtle" positions for the whole time.

Next week we will learn about Earth Day and taking care of our world.
