During week one we enjoyed our tent for a couple days and we saw the FFA animals. (Technical difficulties so no pictures--sorry)
We had an extra long day outside and the best part was mixing dirt and water to make mud. Others challenged themselves to swinging, sliding down the fire pole, trying the monkey bars, and crossing the bridge. A few friends acted out the Three Billy Goats Gruff.
We made Puppy Chow too.
Later in week two was Family Forest Night. We had a relaxed evening showing our families our favorite parts of our forest and intermingled with other families.
In the classroom we finger painted, explored shaving cream, made bug rubbings, built with boxes, drove box boats, and had a great time with friends.
A big thank you to all the community members that donated books for our FREE Book Fair and to Mrs. Hartley and Mrs. Marquardt who organized and set it up. Each child went home with a bag of books they picked out.
Next week is our final week of school. It is always a bittersweet week when we look back and see how much we've learned and grown yet we have to say good-bye as we head to kindergarten in the fall.
