This week we focused on noticing a specific color each day. We wore clothes that had the color of the day, looked around our room to find the color, and learned the Color Pokey with paper streamers (so no pics--we were busy dancing and singing).
Red day we went for a short walk around the block and found red items in the community--trucks, vans, cars, letters on signs, lights, stop signs, flowers, stripes on flags, fire hydrants, etc
Orange day we made marble paintings with a partner
Yellow day we made oobleck--some LOVED it some were meh about it
We went to library and checked out a book for the first time.
We had lots of time to explore the classroom and play with our classmates too!
Next week we will continue color exploration starting with Green on our first forest day :)
