We read more wintry stories including two Jan Brett classics--The Mitten and The Hat. We drew background homes for the animals from those stories and added in cutouts of the animals. Shaving cream was a big hit in the sensory table and boxes for the AM class in the art center. Most of our week was spent with friends and Ms. Kamrath. At the end of the week we celebrated her time here with us and said our good-byes for now. She promised she will be back to visit. We will miss her but know she has an amazing teaching career ahead of her.
Next week we will explore polar animals.
