We welcomed spring by decorating our hallway. We made new name tags for our coat hooks in the shape of a tulip. We also added tulips to a large green piece of paper and put it by our tree. Finally we traced, cut out, and decorated kites with our favorite spring activities. On Thursday we relaxed in our pajamas nad painted our own Eggbert after reading Eggbert the Slightly Cracked Egg. We are ready for spring break and look forward to farm folktales when we retrun.

We have had so much fun learning while exploring dinosaurs these last 2 weeks. We used teamwork to paint and cut out large dinos and eggs for the hall. Our cooking day was making dino food--the ingredients were fat (butter), grass (oatmeal), dirt (cocoa powder), swamp water (milk), crushed bones (sugar), etc. to make no bake cookies. We measured each other after reading about size comparisons for the dinosaurs. We enjoyed a day with our families doing dino themed projects. On Friday we also had fun trying to catch a leprechaun. Next week we will explore spring!
