We hve enjoyed exploring apples these past two weeks. We found out the apples float and the seeds sink, read many books about apples, and cut an apple across the middle to find a star inside. We had an apple tasting party where we tasted and rated red, yellow, and green apples. We also followed a recipe to make and later eat apple crisp--many children asked for seconds. They are good cooks! We were especially excited to welcome our families into our classroom for Family Fun Day to do many apple related projects. Thursday we took a break from all the apple projects and got creative with painting. We also did some red, white, & blue marble painting to prepare for decorating for Veteran's Day.
