The whole school noticed and could tell what color we were doing each day by how we dressed. We started on Tuesday with red. We colored Clifford and some of his favorite red objects and went for a short walk to see what red items we could find in te neighborhood--red cars, letters, trash can, stripes on a flags, flowers, shutters, stops signs, taillights, and fire hydrants. We took a class picture by our red school sign. Wednesday was orange day and we did partner marble painting with orange. On Thursday as part of our cooking special we made yellow play dough. Everyone had a turn measuring/ scooping an ingredient, stirring, and playing with the finished product. Each day we also sang the Color Pokey and added a paper streamer of the day's color. We are looking forward to green in the forest and blue when we return to the school classroom. Here is a peek at our week:
