We worked on learning 4 nursery rhymes this week by acting them out and doing a project related to them. We had fun using costumes and props. We are pretty good at saying them too.
Tuesday was Little Boy Blue--we colored a haystack and put Little Boy Blue under it
Wednesday--Little Miss Muffet--we made a paper spider to help us retell it at home
Thursday--Humpty Dumpty--we built walls, drew them, and put Humpty Dumpty on them AND we our cooking project was Humpty Dumpty Sandwich (because all the kings horses and all the kings men couldn't put Humpty together again and we didn't want to see him go to waste)
Friday--Baa Baa Black Sheep--we played a dice game to take "wool" off a sheep
Next week we are looking forward to learning about December Holidays--especially Christmas.
