What a busy week! It was our first five day week of the year. Tuesday we explored apples by cooking them--in the morning we did an bake bake and in the afternoon we made apple crisp--warm apples are so yummy! We used logic to sequence cards about eating an apple and had an apple tasting party. We tried red, green, and yellow apples and then rated how we liked them. We opened a new center too--the art center! They were loving cutting, gluing , and drawing their own projects. The AM class had the opportunity to see some farm animals as part of the FFA Ag Day. After reading Ten Apples Up on Top, we chose how many apples we wanted on top of our head and each made a page for a class book. We closed out our week with The Fund Run and Grandparents Day. It was a very busy week.
