Dinosaur Unit week 2

We had another great week exploring dinosaurs and doing dinosaur activities. Our big day was Tuesday, when our families joined us for a dinosaur themed Family Fun Day. The rest of the week we listened to stories, made dinosaur outline rubbings, colored, played a matching game, and compared sizes of bones.

On Family Fun Day we:

...made play dough dinosaurs

...read books

...drew what our dinosaur would eat

...made a dinosaur trail mix (Sorry--no action pictures--I was busy stationed by the foot painting table).

...assembled a dino skeleton

...and tried to see how many Early Learner footprints fit inside 1 T-Rex footprint. The best part was the parents had a chance to paint the child's foot--so many giggles.

Next week we will learn about spring. Tuesday will be Nn Show & Share. Thursday is pj day--your child may wear their pajamas and bring ONE (1) stuffed animal if they would like.  Friday there is no school.
