We had a full and event-filled week. Here are the highlights:
Tuesday we read about Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. We traced and decorated light bulbs for the hallway. We also started an experiment with short light strings and batteries. Our faces light up like the bulbs when we figured it out!
Wednesday we read about Hanukkah and played the dreidel game.
Thursday couldn't have been busier--first we had Family Fun Day and at night we had our concert.
Friday we were tired but we read about Kwanzaa and made a string necklace--instead of beads we used Froot Loops. More were eaten than made it on the necklace. We wrapped a special secret package too.
We still found time to play with our friends.
We ended the week with each child receiving a new scarf made and donated by a community member--THANK YOU!
