We had 2 show & share days--Hh and Mm. On those days we read Jan Brett books--The Hat and The Mitten. After reading The Mitten, each child drew their idea of a forest and added one of the animals from the story to their habitat.
We learned how to fold paper and not cut all the way across to make paper snowflakes. We will be adding these to our tree in the hallway.
At the paint easel, we had black paper and light colored paints.
On Thursday we had a cooking day and made fresh play dough. We experimented with blue and red food coloring. Many predicted it would be purple.
We enjoyed playing with our classmates too.
Next week we will explore polar animals and have Family Fun Day.
