We started our week looking for green in the park. We found green grass, leaves, street signs, concrete tennis courts, and even an inch worm. Our story today was Go Away Big Green Monster and it was the most requested repeat read all week. Between Mrs. Bobzin and Mrs. Bender it was read at least 20 times!
Tuesday we read Harold and the Purple Crayon and drew our own adventures. We also danced with purple streamers to The Freeze song.
Brown Day was Wednesday. We made a class book patterned after Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See? Look for it on our shelf during Family Fun Day this coming week.
We finished the week with gray. Gray squirrel the puppet showed us how he shakes his bushy tail and left his favorite story for us. We read Earl the Squirrel and made our own Earl puppet.
Before leaving on Thursday we drew birthday pictures for Mr. Struck's birthday coming up this weekend.
Next week we will explore apples!
Thank you so very much for the time spent on this. I appreciate it very much.
