We started our week back after break focusing on the hard /g/ sound like gum, gate, goat, etc with Gg Show and Share and then made a matching game of Gg words.
The rest of the week we enjoyed stories about the Gingerbread Man and Gingerbread Baby. We made our own gingerbread critters on Thursday--we looked at and smelled the ingredients. We measured and mixed. Finally we shaped and baked them. Most of the children liked them but a few found the taste a little strong. We also practiced taking turns and counting out spaces on a Gingerbread Baby board game.
Next week we will focus on the season of winter. Here is a peek at our week:
