We have been reading stories and talking about ways to take care of our earth--picking up after ourselves, putting trash in the trash can, turning the water off while brushing our teeth, turning lights off when we are done in a room, etc. We also made coffee filter earths and finished decorating our tree in the hall with fresh green leaves and blossoms. For our cooking project we used leftovers to create a snack mix. We cleaned out our art center and made "amazing" things.
The blog is a day early this week because I will be attending an Early Childhood conference on Friday and Saturday. Next week we will be focusing on some wild animals from Africa and Asia.
