This week each child selected a board from our stash in the forest and we are working on a painting exploration project with them. Each day we use a different color and a different "tool" to paint with. We began with brown and a regular paint brush. Other days we have used red, green, and purple with left over mini hot dogs, left over apples, and cotton balls. We will continue this next week.
Also we opened the final mystery center--tools, wood, and a castle set. They were super engaged. The newness also gave us fresh opportunity to practice turn taking, waitin, and negotiation.
