What a beautuful fall day for picking pumpkins! We had a great time riding out to the patch on tractor drawn wagons. Everyone chose a pumpkin and we head to the Back 40 to play and explore. We finished up with a snack and a walk past the animals on our way to the bus.
Ideas to do with your pumpkin once you get it home--weight and measure it, compare its size to a favorite toy or a pet, wash it and see if it sinks or floats, give it a name and write or trace the name on a sign, decorate it, or cut into it to see what is inside.
