We spent the last 2 weeks enjoying fun stories (no theme just fun). Our project has been painting a board they selected from scrap wood. Each day we used one color and a different tool. There was foam brushes, pine needles, left over apple slices (from forest lunch), dandelions, cotton balls, q tips, pinecones, and a couple others. It is always interestnig to see each child's design--some layer color after color on top of each other, some paint one color next to the last, some paint random splotches. In the end they do look like works of art.
