EL Wrap Up week 1

This week we started remembering the many things we learned and did this year.

Justin Johnson, Montana's dad, an engineer for the Soo Line (I think that is the one he said) came and shared his artifacts and a video with us. He showed the children the keys, safety glasses, gloves, lantern, and a few other items he uses daily for his job. He brought models of a few different types of rail cars and described their use. Finally he shared a video of what it looks like from the front of the train as it goes along the tracks. Thank you Mr. Johnson!

We had our spring concert Tuesday night and the children sang 3 songs.

We reviewed shapes and cutting when we made masks after reading Where's the Big Bad Wolf?

We made fairy houses with items we brought back from the forest.

Some grandparents joined us for the school wide Grandparents celebration.

Next week we will be another review week and we have our field trip!
