Color Week 1 Sept 10-13

This week we continued to learn our classroom routines and get to know each other. We also started focusing on one color per day. We were busy with songs, paint, an experiment, cooking, and so much more. We especially liked playing with new friends, hearing stories, and exploring all our play centers.

Monday was red and our first Project Wild Child. We spent the day in the park and we noticed many red things on our walk to and from school.

We saw a red fire hydrant, truck, and stop sign...and so much more.

Tuesday was orange and we painted with a partner using marbles in a box. We also learned the Color Pokey and added color verses as the week went on.

Wednesday was yellow and we experimented with cornstarch and water to make oobleck--it's a solid yet a liquid--so much fun.

Thursday was blue and we finger painted and cooked blue play dough.

Nest week is green, purple, brown, and gray. Hope everyone has a colorful weekend!
