So this is the shortest full week of school I think I have ever experienced--four weather related cancellations in a row, but that did not stop us from enjoying at least 1 story by Mo Willems--
Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus. We will continue reading more of his stories over the next week or two as we can fit them in with our upcoming Friendship & Valentine's celebrations. We did enjoy reading it and some Elephant & Piggie stories with our classmates and teachers.
We were busy today tracing, cutting out, and assembling a paper Pigeon. Next week we will work on writing a story about the pigeon we made today.
We noticed Pigeon experienced many feelings throughout the story. We practiced making them with our own faces and drew some faces showing different feelings.
We also had some time to play with our friends.
Next week is Vv show & share on Tuesday as we kick off our exploration of friendship and valentines.
