Wild Animals Week

It was a wild week of animal exploration this week. Children chose an animal to learn about. We read a nonfiction book to find out where the animal lives in the wild and what they eat.

We went on safari in search of hidden animal groups and then recorded the number we found.

Sneaky animal pictures hid throughout the room and we tried to find all of them. We counted the number we found and compared it to how many there were altogether. Then we figured out how many were still hiding. Sorry no specific pics but the chart is visible in some of the above pictures.

We worked hard to share all we learned. We drew pictures and dictated something we learned. We shared it with the big kids by displaying the info in the hall.

We had fun playing with out friends too!

Next week we will explore trains.
