We listened to The Three Billy Goats Gruff and made puppets to retell the story at school and at home.
Tuesday we had 2 baby pigs visit school. We were very excited to meet them. Thank you Branton family for bringing the piglets in!
Wednesday we pretended to milk a cow (but really it was a glove). It sure made us giggle.
For cooking day we made pigs in a blanket with a partner. We had to wait turns but each child got to cut either the hot dog or the crescent roll dough.
We had plenty of time to use our own ideas when playing too.
The afternoon class had the opportunity to practice not 1 but 2 safety drills with the rest of the school. Tuesday we had a fire drill and Thursday a tornado drill. Everyone did great!
Next week we will explore our earth and ways to take care of it.
