This week while we continued to build friendship skills and use our imagination, we also took time to explore apples. We read about apple parts and then looked at an apple to see its various parts--skin, stem, core, flesh, and seeds. We followed a recipe to make apple crisp--some liked it (& had seconds) and some did not care for it.
Our imaginations were busy this week--doctor office, evil magicians, singers, building a zoo, a restaurant, and much more.

Some children discovered the sand paper and wood chunks. They said the wood felt softer after they sanded it.
We will continue our apple exploration next week.
