We had a wonderful week reading about how we can take care of our world. We decorated our hall tree with finger painted green leaves and blossoms. We practiced recycling and reusing items from snack and in the art center. Each child chose a piece of discard lumber and we are exploring different tools to paint with each day; so far we used tiny paint brushes and cotton balls. For cooking we made Friendship Mix. We used up leftover snacks from the past few weeks. We made special birthday cards for Ms. Kamrath and we had a special surprise on Friday--Ms. Kamrath visited each class via Google Meet! Next week we will learn about some wild animals from Africa and Asia.
