EL Wrap Up week 2

Another fun and busy week is already complete--only a couple more left in our year. Time really does fly when you are having fun. Sometimes a teacher can forget to take pictures too when we are deep in fun learning.

We enjoyed rereading and singing along to one of our favorite stories, Pete the Cat I Love My White Shoes. We made a paper Pete the Cat project and decided what he might step in and what color his shoes would be.

Curious George is another familiar and favorite character and in the story this week he went camping. We enjoyed playing in a tent and practiced turn taking with it. We also used the paper plates, we experimented on using the 3 primary colors last week, to cut on a curved line to make snake decorations for our room.

Friday was VERY busy. We spent about 45 minutes outside seeing farm animals and learning from the FFA members about the animals. We took some time to draw pictures of and dictate words about what we want to be when we grow up.

Mrs. Olson was able to visit briefly in the afternoon on Wednesday so we gave her the cards we made.

Throughout the week we enjoyed time playing with our friends too.

Next week we will explore Summer Fun.
