Busy week of exploring and experimenting and just having fun with friends. First some general fun with friends.
We got out some new magnetic toys for table time and center time.
We experimented with cooked noodles in the sensory table. In the afternoon they had some cooking show competitions including a countdown from 10 to 1 and hands up. It seems that Sugar Pie is popular because who ever would cook that was declared the winner each time.
We had some famous paintings in our room and we spent some time noticing different things in the paintings.
We still had the tent up this week too.
On Thursday we spent extra time outside for fun in the sun--explored a section of the playground we seldom go to, blew bubbles, wrote with sidewalk chalk, and enjoyed soapy water in the sensory table.
Their own version of 3 Billy Goats Gruff
Bubble Dance--get arms full of bubbles and twirl
We finished the week with our field trip to MacKenzie Environmental Center. The wolves were the most talked about even after we left the exhibit area. We got to see the deer up close when she walked right along the fence next to our path.
Next week we will have more Summer Fun.
