Family and Thanksgiving

We were busy thinking about our families and learning about Thanksgiving. We talked about what we were thankful for--what makes our hearts happy.

We made family pictures using shapes.

We practiced "reading" our counting rhyme books and took them home to share with our families.

We enjoyed time with our friends.

We made cutout cookies for Family Fun Day.

We finished our week with Family Fun Day. We painted hand print turkeys, read stories, made fingerprint families. decorated a sugar cookie, and washed the "Thanksgiving dishes" in the sensory table.

Next week is super short so...no blog until after Thanksgiving--Happy Thanksgiving!
