We had a great time acting out a few nursery rhymes this week. Ask your child about them and help them review them.
Tuesday we did 2 that involved spiders--Little Miss Muffet and the Itsy Bitsy Spider. They each made a paper spider to help them act the rhymes out at home.
Wednesday we focused on Baa Baa Black Sheep.
Thursday was Humpty Dumpty. After acting it out we also built walls for Humpty Dumpty to sit on and drew a picture of it. We also worked with a partner to peel an egg and make a Humpty Dumpty sandwich.
Friday we headed outside to act out Jack & Jill (Or Jack & Gil--we have LOTS of boys in the afternoon).
Next week we will start our December Holidays unit and we kicked it off today by drawing a picture of something we hope we might get as a gift.
