Halloween Week Oct 30-Nov 1, 2018

We had a super busy week. It flew by so fast that we didn't take as many pictures as usual.

We read about bones and pointed to them on our bodies. We used cotton tipped swabs to make a skeleton.

We dressed up in costumes and played with friends. In the morning we walked to the office and cafeteria for a short Halloween parade. In the afternoon we participated in the all school costume parade.

We have been listening to Jack and the Beanstalk. On Wednesday we watched a lego version on youtube and then dictated a response to "Should Jack climb the beanstalk?". The responses are displayed in the Early Learning hallway--they should still be up for Family Fun Day in a couple weeks.

Another favorite story we have is Pete the Cat I Love My White Shoes. On Thursday everyone had a turn using props to retell the story to me. It was amazing--ask them to tell you the story at home.
